Long-term in-situ measurements

An automated weather station has been set-up by Armand Mariscal and Nathalie Philippon, in March 2020 at "Bambidie", north of Lastourville, within the CEB-Precious Woods logging concession.
Thanks to all the people which have locally contributed and helped to the WS set-up.


A few pictures of the weather station set-up

The weather station is equiped with : pluviometer, thermometer, relative humidity, pressure, and wind speed and direction sensors ; Photosynthetic Active Radiation, and global and diffuse incoming solar radiation sensors to evaluate the availability and quality of light under the low-level cloud cover; incoming and outgoing long-wave and short-wave solar radiation sensors to assess the radiative budget under the low-level cloud cover; soil moisture probes at 5, 20, 50 and 100cm.
