I’m a senior researcher at the Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research (IMK) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). My expertise is in dynamical meteorology, with a focus on diagnosing and predicting tropical weather and climate systems. A regional focus is on tropical Africa where I did field work in various countries and for which region I am a specialist in ground and upper-air data availability.
