I am a climatologist, Professor of Geography at Université de Bourgogne, Biogéosciences research laboratory (Centre de Recherches de Climatologie). My research focuses on present-day climate variability and climate trends in Eastern Africa, from Kenya to Ethiopia, their spatial patterns and how they relate to anomalies in sea surface temperatures and atmospheric dynamics. I also worked on rainfall variations in other parts of Africa (Central Africa, Western Africa), from diurnal to intraseasonal and interannual timescales, and on the relationships between ecosystems (crops, forests) and climate. Here is my researchgate page.
